Project Partners is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Lead to enhance our dynamic team in Rugby, Warwickshire. This full-time role is ideal for candidates residing in the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mechanical maintenance operations to ensure optimal plant reliability while adhering to safety, health, environmental, and financial objectives.
  • Implement and enforce safe working practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Direct and coordinate the mechanical maintenance schedule.
  • Work closely with the Planning Department to guarantee the availability of necessary parts, labor, and equipment for effective maintenance execution.
  • Review inspection outcomes and ensure appropriate actions are taken to meet reliability goals.
  • Organize the allocation of labor, parts, and equipment resources efficiently.
  • Lead the mechanical team in terms of productivity, motivation, and discipline.
  • Evaluate the performance of staff and contractors to ensure adherence to the maintenance plan.
  • Supervise the execution of preventive maintenance inspections.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent, or a National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Mechanical Coordinator, Maintenance Team Leader, or as a Deputy/Graduate Engineer within a cement manufacturing environment.
