Project Partners is actively seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist who is ready to embrace a new long-term position within a dynamic and dependable team.

Role Objective:

To perform mechanical upkeep that ensures optimal plant reliability while adhering to safety, health, environmental, and financial objectives. Support the organization’s maintenance strategies and policies to maintain safe operations and environmental compliance, aiming for zero accidents and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe mechanical environment at the facility, focusing on the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Foster a culture of safety within the Mechanical Maintenance team.
  • Engage in and promote Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) or Visible Felt Leadership (VFL) initiatives.
  • Contribute to the maintenance team’s efforts to deliver high-quality mechanical upkeep using core competencies and training.
  • Implement the mechanical maintenance schedule efficiently, addressing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks within assigned areas.
  • Work closely with the Planning Department to ensure the availability of appropriate parts, labor, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Reliability Department to act on inspection findings and meet reliability goals.
  • Investigate unexpected plant downtimes and provide feedback to mechanical supervisors.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to avert unplanned outages.
  • Manage mechanical maintenance during scheduled shutdowns effectively.
  • Ensure maintenance quality and cost-effectiveness of spare parts to meet reliability objectives.
  • Deliver mechanical maintenance of the highest standard to maintain plant performance.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Mechanical Team Members, Supervisors, and other departments to enhance overall plant performance.
