Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at RS Group plc. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs or replacements as needed
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of warehouse facilities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role in a warehouse or factory environment
  • Recognized qualification, apprenticeship, or time-served experience as a maintenance engineer/technician
  • Experience with MHE equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and detection equipment
  • Electrical qualification to work with 3PH 400V circuits
  • Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC drawings

Working Conditions

  • Weekday shifts: Monday – Friday (rotating weeks)
