Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Learning Support Assistants within our partner SEN Provisions. This position involves working with children aged 4-25 who have various special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering innovative and engaging lessons along with sensory activities.
  • Provide support to students on a one-on-one basis as well as in small groups.
  • Encourage and motivate children to achieve their maximum potential.
  • Contribute to the assessment of students' learning and development to help update their Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possess a calm demeanor and a great deal of patience.
  • Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, either in educational settings or through personal experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be available for full-time work during school hours.
  • Hold a valid Child and Adult DBS check (which can be arranged through our organization).

Additional Information: All candidates will undergo standard vetting procedures, including reference checks covering the last 24 months of employment, DBS checks, and Overseas Criminal Clearance checks.
