POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Role: SEN Support Assistant
  • Duration: Full academic year
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support for a student with complex emotional and academic challenges, including ASD and speech & language difficulties.
  • Behavior Management: Experience with very challenging behavior is essential.
  • Supervision: The student will require continuous supervision throughout the school day.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Experience managing challenging behavior.
  • Current Safeguarding training (desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided).
