Entrust Social Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adoption Social Worker Practice Manager to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team to lead our adoption team. The successful candidate will have experience of care planning and adoption regulations, case management, and providing management support and guidance to team members.

The team works closely together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing management oversight of the linking and matching process, chairing meetings relevant to care planning and the adoption process, and supporting the development of the care planning and family finding spoke with the Regional Adoption Agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Experience of care planning and adoption regulations
  2. Case manage complex cases
  3. Provide management support, guidance, and regular supervision to members of the adoption team and care planning and family finding teams within the Regional Adoption Agency
  4. Provide management oversight of the linking and matching process
  5. Chair meetings relevant to care planning and the adoption process
  6. Support with the development of the care planning and family finding spoke with the Regional Adoption Agency
  7. Provide duty management cover
  8. Quality assure, tracking cases to prevent drift
  9. Deputise in the Team Manager's absence
