Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Manager to join our Cared for Children Service in Tameside. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and challenge to our Social Workers, inspiring them to deliver exceptional outcomes for Tameside children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Social Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for children and young people, working closely with colleagues and partners to achieve this goal.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other teams and agencies to ensure a seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide professional supervision and support to Social Workers, promoting their professional development and well-being.
