About the Role

The Brooks Macdonald Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Distribution team, you will play a critical role in supporting the attainment of our sales targets and objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strive to go beyond direct responsibilities to surpass team targets and meet team commitments
  • Embrace, challenge, and motivate others in the team to assist in overcoming challenges
  • Support the development of a high-performing team that utilizes individual strengths for maximum contribution
  • Identify potential introducers of new business using Financial Clarity and other data sources to arrange meetings for our Business Development Managers (BDMs)
  • Help organize events in the Regions in conjunction with the BDMs and Investment Managers
  • Identify, contact, and arrange meetings with un-initiated contacts via telephone, Skype, or face-to-face
  • Support the Head of UK Distribution and other key stakeholders within BM Group in building the Brooks Macdonald brand within the UK, ensuring sales targets are achieved and surpassed
  • Ensure own personal development meets the standards established for the role
  • Support the attainment of Distribution policy and procedures to the highest standards
