The Governors are seeking applications from a skilled and enthusiastic individual who is committed to working within a collaborative environment. As a member of the administrative team, your role will be pivotal in providing support services to facilitate this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall school attendance and actively promote the school's Attendance Policy.
  • Accurately collate, update, maintain, and record school data in a timely manner, including assessment data, attendance records, daily meal registers, and other relevant information.
  • Generate and analyze weekly reports on attendance and punctuality, providing necessary data for school leadership and governing bodies.
  • Investigate and document reasons for student absences, conduct home visits, and manage requests for term-time absences.
  • Monitor attendance patterns and collaborate with the Education Welfare Service for guidance and support as needed.
  • Serve as a visible presence in the school office, acting as the primary contact for attendance inquiries and assisting with various administrative tasks.
  • Maintain both manual and digital records using relevant ICT applications, including SIMS, FMS, School Spider, and Microsoft Office.

  • Exhibit commitment and a sense of humor.
  • Experience in supporting pupil inclusion and working effectively as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a primary school setting, assisting in teaching and learning activities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in IT, including Excel and Word.
