Staffing and Team Management

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Practice Manager in the recruitment and onboarding of non-clinical staff.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of locum staff to ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Guide Site Team Leaders and Workflow Coordinators in staff training and development.
  • Monitor staff performance and manage leave and absence effectively.
  • Prepare and manage monthly shift schedules for clinical staff.
  • Identify training needs and develop plans for staff development.

Performance Monitoring

You will be responsible for:

  • Staying informed about primary care KPIs and contractual obligations.
  • Evaluating practice performance against set objectives and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborating with clinical leads to achieve performance targets.

Strategic Planning

Your contributions will include:

  • Identifying opportunities for practice development and improvement.
  • Participating in strategic discussions and planning initiatives.
  • Maintaining effective communication within the practice and with external partners.

Patient Services Management

In this capacity, you will:

  • Develop and manage patient services in line with local and national guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with NHS contractual obligations regarding patient care.
  • Oversee appointment systems and manage patient flow effectively.

Information Management

Your role will involve:

  • Evaluating and implementing IT solutions to enhance practice operations.
  • Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Facilitating staff training on IT systems and data management.
