Job Summary

As a Production Team Leader at Culina Group, you will be responsible for motivating a team of people to meet production targets. You will ensure the final product meets client specifications, including management of BarTender case label system. Your goal will be to effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on a hourly/daily basis. You will also be responsible for ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures. Additionally, you will ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external. You will also be responsible for GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to. You will assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers. You will also be responsible for attending Line leader meetings, and relevant training courses, as and when required. You will assist in the identification and development of Line Leaders to promote success planning. You will also assist in the training and maintaining of the Nvolve system. You will act as a role model for best practice. You will monitor, control and minimise waste. You will play an active part in continuous improvement. You will conduct RTW's for line workers. You will participate in the company's PDP program. You will conduct disciplinary investigations in accordance with company procedure. You will drive own personal development through training and work based experience. You will manage the output of assigned production and effectively deal with issues as and when they arise. You will cover for the Production Controller / QA in his/her absence. You will liaise with customers and clients as and when required. You will be prepared to cover a variety of shifts to represent the management team. You will undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.
