Job Title: Domiciliary Care and Reablement Team Leader
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting or enabling individuals to remain living within the community, enhancing the quality of their lives and supporting and maintaining them safely in their own environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support domiciliary care workers and reablement support workers within their team by being flexible and active in the local areas, supervising and observing staff, and completing risk assessments and quality assurance paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and the approved policies and procedures of Powys County Council.
- Communicate effectively with the general public and other professional bodies with a kind and sympathetic nature.
- Motivate a team of Domiciliary Care Assistants and Reablement Support Workers within their given area.
- Work as part of a team and independently, reporting to the line manager any identified risks.
- Problem solve and respond positively to pressure.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own environment.
