About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders with their registration and reporting systems, results queries, suite creation and amendments, and appropriate limits for testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support for customers and internal stakeholders with their registration and reporting systems, results queries, suite creation and amendments, and appropriate limits for testing.
  • Reporting subcontract results where required.
  • Delivering onsite and online training to customers on data systems and providing ongoing support where problems arise.
  • Answering and dealing with telephone queries from customers and other outside agents.
  • Assisting the retail team with queries regarding their results/suites.
  • Liaising with the commercial team regarding requirements of new and existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Laboratory experience with food testing.
  • Food testing in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in dealing with customers.
  • Comfortable talking to customers on the telephone/web chats/face to face.
