About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless registration and reporting processes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders with their registration and reporting systems, results queries, suite creation and amendments, and appropriate limits for testing.
  • Report subcontract results where required.
  • Deliver onsite and online training to customers on data systems and provide ongoing support where problems arise.
  • Answer and deal with telephone queries from customers and other outside agents.
  • Assist the retail team with queries regarding their results/suites.
  • Liaise with the commercial team regarding requirements of new and existing customers.
Requirements
  • Laboratory experience with food testing.
  • Food testing in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in dealing with customers.
  • Comfortable talking to customers on the telephone/web chats/face to face.
