Job Title: Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders with their registration and reporting systems, results queries, suite creation and amendments, and appropriate limits for testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for customers and internal stakeholders with their registration and reporting systems, results queries, suite creation and amendments, and appropriate limits for testing.
  • Report subcontract results where required.
  • Deliver onsite and online training to customers on data systems and provide ongoing support where problems arise.
  • Answer and deal with telephone queries from customers and other outside agents.
  • Assist the retail team with queries regarding their results/suites.
  • Liaise with the commercial team regarding requirements of new and existing customers.

Requirements

  • Laboratory experience with food testing.
  • Good IT skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Food testing in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience of the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience of dealing with customers.
  • Comfortable talking to customers on the telephone/webchats/face-to-face.
