Children and Young People Team Leader

SaferHandCare is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader for Children and Young People. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young residents.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual who can work collaboratively with our team to achieve our aims and objectives. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and managing a team of Support Workers, ensuring that our young residents receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support for our young residents.
- Work collaboratively with the Home Manager and/or Deputy Home Manager to achieve our aims and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for our young residents.
- Ensure that our young residents receive person-centered care that meets their individual needs.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of child development and care principles.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
