As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support. We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to oversee our residential service, where we assist individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi syndrome, mental health challenges, and epilepsy. Our service fosters a welcoming atmosphere with a vibrant team committed to supporting a wonderful group of individuals.

In this role, you will empower individuals to achieve greater independence in their daily activities while assisting the Manager with the overall supervision and administration of the service. Responsibilities may include:

  • Allocating shifts and scheduling training sessions.
  • Inducting new team members.
  • Providing supervision and support.
  • Managing medication orders.
  • Assisting individuals with financial management.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others, whether by fostering confidence in colleagues or helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

We value both experience and the right mindset in our Senior Support Workers. Candidates should possess prior experience in a similar role, hold a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care, and be willing to pursue Level 3 certification. Experience working with individuals facing learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi syndrome, mental health issues, epilepsy, and challenging behaviors is essential.
