About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team at The Getaway, a purpose-built home in Kirk Hallam, Ilkeston. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing responsive care and support to young people with severe learning difficulties, autism, challenging behavior, and profound physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine care and safety needs for young people during the night
  • Use a person-centered approach to meet individual needs and support families
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive management team and receive regular supervision
  • Develop skills and knowledge to improve the quality of care and support
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma and Social Care Pathway (England) or equivalent qualification
  • Be willing to undertake additional training and development opportunities
  • Have an openness to and aptitude for relationship-focused and psychologically informed working practices
