Experienced Warehouse Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager and ensuring that operational plans are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication and Team Management: Ensure continuous communication between managers and warehouse staff, motivate, coach, and mentor subordinates.
  • Performance Management: Manage staff performance issues and conflict, control holidays to avoid adverse costs.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and up-to-date, maintain housekeeping and warehouse records to a high standard.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn correctly, prompt accident reporting and completion of the accident reporting book.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management experience, ability to inspire, lead, and motivate a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, ability to adapt to other systems as required.
  • Warehouse Operations: In-depth understanding of company processes and equipment, high level of proficiency in warehouse operations.
  • Employee Relations: Proficiency in employee relations, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a proven track record of leadership and management.
