Key Responsibilities:
Ensure continuous communication between managers and warehouse staff
Motivate, coach, and mentor all subordinates
Manage staff performance issues and conflict
Control holidays to ensure no adverse costs are incurred
Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and up to date
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse records
Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn correctly
Promptly report and complete accident reports
Requirements:
FLT Counterbalance (desirable)
Driving Licence (desirable)
Leadership skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead, and motivate a team
Tech-savvy with experience of Windows and ability to adapt to other systems
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth understanding of company processes and equipment
High level of proficiency in warehouse operations
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
Previous management experience
Proficiency in employee relations
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 0830-1630, paid at £12.01 per hour, rising to £13.33 when permanent
