Clinical Operations Advisor

Salary Circa £38,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Advisor to join our team at Aviva plc. As a key member of our Health and Protection team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical expertise to support our business operations.

About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires a strong understanding of clinical operations and the ability to work closely with our claims consultants to ensure that customer information is presented in a clear and concise manner. You will be responsible for ensuring that clinical decisions are in line with standard medical practice and UK health philosophy, protecting our customers and staff from potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise to support business operations and ensure that customer information is presented in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work closely with claims consultants to ensure that clinical decisions are in line with standard medical practice and UK health philosophy.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines and technical awareness to ensure that clinical decisions are made in accordance with industry standards.
  • Build relationships with other business areas to improve the end-to-end customer journey.

Requirements:

  • Hold a clinical qualification (e.g. nursing, physiotherapy, medicine) and currently registered with a professional regulatory body.
  • Working at (or the equivalent of) NHS Band 6. acute.
  • A great understanding of the UK health system, both NHS and private.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of working with acute conditions and comfortable applying clinical knowledge outside of the direct treatment of patients.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and confident communication skills.
