About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Prestige Nursing & Care Plymouth. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with spinal cord injuries
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including shopping and household chores
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and provide companionship
  • Administer medication and support with fluid and nutrition intake
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and promote their independence

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care and support work, ideally with individuals with spinal cord injuries
  • Enhanced DBS/PVG check and right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
