Science Teacher Job Opportunity in East London

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science teacher to join our team at a reputable independent school in East London. The school is looking for a competent and dynamic Science Specialist to work on a part-time basis, sharing the role with another teacher due to a change in timetabling.

The school has an excellent reputation for staff well-being and delivering an exceptional standard of education, with over 95% of students achieving a grade 4 or above in the subject. The school is located near a London Overground Station, boasts modern equipment and resources that inspire and motivate pupils, and has a supportive Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Science
  • Working on a part-time basis, Monday to Wednesday
  • January to May Half-Term
  • Starting in January 2025
  • Job share with one other teacher
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
