Job Opportunity: Part-time Science Teacher

Location: London

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-time Science Teacher to join our team at a high-achieving all-girls school in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science from key stages 3 to 4 on a maternity cover basis, working 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students in key stages 3 to 4.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student achievement.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff to maintain a calm and harmonious classroom environment.
  • Organize and maintain a well-structured classroom and associated resources.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching science at secondary level.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • A desire to contribute to the school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
