Science Teacher Job Opportunity in East London Independent School

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science teacher to join our team at a reputable independent school in East London. The school is looking for a competent and dynamic Science Specialist to work on a part-time basis, job sharing with another teacher due to a change in timetabling.

The school has an excellent reputation for staff well-being and delivering an exceptional standard of education, with over 95% of students achieving a grade 4 or above in the subject. The school is located near a London Overground Station, has modern equipment and resources that inspire and motivate pupils, and a supportive Senior Leadership Team.

The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Science on a part-time basis, Monday to Wednesday, from January to May. The successful candidate will be paid to scale and will have the opportunity to work in a smaller setting with a warm and supportive nature.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification, have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. You will also need to have a CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and have the legal right to work in the UK.
