Science Teacher / Science ECT Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Science Teacher / Science ECT to join our team at an 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the heart of Westminster. This is a permanent, full-time contract with a January 2025 or sooner start.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and motivating students, working alongside a team of experienced Science Teachers, and contributing to the school's commitment to excellence. Opportunities for TLRs, such as KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities, are available for experienced Science Teachers.

Newly Qualified Science Teachers (NQTs) will be enrolled onto the school's bespoke ECT induction program, providing a comprehensive support system for their professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence
  • Work collaboratively with the Science Department to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Contribute to the school's commitment to excellence in Science education
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
  • UK QTS or in the process of gaining
  • Strong academic record, including a degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a large team
  • Willingness to listen to feedback and adapt to changing circumstances
