The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, design teams, and procurement managers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment
  • Ensuring purchases offer best value
  • Monitoring and reporting of price increases, updating internal spreadsheets
  • Tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries
  • Arranging the return of non-conforming products
  • Maintaining and developing the supply chain
  • Identification of new products
  • Processing of purchase ledger records

Requirements for the role include:

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years Purchasing experience in the construction industry - ideally cladding/roofing
  • Experience and/or education in procurement and inventory management
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for word processing, email, and spreadsheets
