Job Title: Assistant Buyer - Procurement Team

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our Procurement Team at Gap Construction. As an Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting the buying team in the procurement of materials and plant across the business on a project-by-project basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the buying team in the procurement of materials and plant
* Monitor receipt of information and requisitions against agreed material buying schedules
* Analyze and produce orders to meet delivery requirements of the site team
* Prepare and issue enquiries to suppliers
* Provide assistance to the buying team in the procurement of materials and plant

Requirements:

* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Basic knowledge of health and safety policies and legislation
