MWH Treatment is seeking to enhance our engineering capabilities with a Regional Engineering Manager - Mechanical, offering a flexible work arrangement.

In this pivotal role, you will directly report to the Regional Engineering Director, taking charge of the technical leadership within the discipline across the region. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the engineering discipline is adequately staffed, possesses the necessary skills, and adheres to standardized design methodologies, while also fostering the growth and advancement of all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

Uphold the welfare of the discipline within the region. Develop and implement training and development strategies for the discipline. Oversee staffing levels and manage personnel within the discipline. Formulate long-term staffing and succession strategies for the discipline. Conduct performance evaluations and reviews for staff within the discipline.

Engineering Discipline Oversight

Apply strategic design principles within the discipline. Manage competency frameworks within the discipline. Ensure technical excellence within the discipline. Estimate task time requirements for projects within the discipline. Implement effective task delivery methods and tools within the discipline. Assign the most suitable and skilled personnel to projects within the region. Utilize secure and standardized information management systems within the discipline.

Operational Leadership

Contribute to the definition and execution of the technical strategy for the discipline. Enhance productivity within the discipline. Manage tactical technical risks within the region. Cultivate client relationships and oversee service management within the discipline.

Personal Development Responsibilities

Commit to your continuous professional growth by engaging in external networking opportunities, including conferences and industry associations, while staying informed about industry trends and innovations. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, representing both yourself and MWH Treatment with integrity. Share insights, methodologies, and best practices with colleagues across the organization.
