Job Overview

In this position, you will be analyzing risk factors associated with long-term investment strategies utilizing advanced forecasting models, multi-period Monte Carlo simulations, historical stress-testing, and cluster analysis.

Position Summary:

As a Vice President within the Multi-Asset Solutions team, your primary focus will encompass three key areas of our investment methodology: strategic asset allocation, tactical asset allocation, and portfolio design. You will also play a significant role in the firm-wide formulation of Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions and the creation of risk-managed portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and implement systematic alpha models across equities, interest rates, and foreign exchange.
  • Assist in the development of portfolio construction and risk management frameworks for the multi-asset team.
  • Present new research findings and weekly model outputs at various internal meetings.
  • Oversee the daily management of systematic models.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to ensure systematic execution of models across diverse portfolios.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Recent and relevant experience in financial markets with a robust understanding of multi-asset portfolios.
  • A master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or engineering, with coursework in asset pricing, financial economics, statistical analysis, macroeconomics, or econometrics, and stochastic modeling.
  • Proficient coding and data analysis skills are essential.
  • Experience with Python (additional knowledge of R, Matlab, SQL, and SPARK is advantageous) and familiarity with large financial datasets.
  • Experience with financial databases, portfolio optimization methods, and contemporary machine learning techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in presenting complex quantitative research.
