About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial management of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the completion of the month-end closing process, including prepayments and accruals, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and reconcile VAT returns to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze actual costs against forecast and budget to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and present financial reports to the Legal Entity, Corporate, and Management Teams to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and participate in the external audit to maintain the integrity of our financial systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Part-qualified or qualified in a professional accounting qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required, with knowledge of SAP an advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effective communication with staff, peer groups, and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy, with knowledge of Word and PowerPoint an advantage.
