Your New Role

As a key member of the finance team, you will be supporting the management accounts team in various tasks, including:

  • Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and year-end processes
  • Investigating variances and improving systems
  • Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed, including stock reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and VAT returns
  • Supporting the ledger processes and various management reporting

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A strong start to your accountancy career, with experience in month-end routines, such as journals and accruals/prepayments
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, with a confident and motivated approach
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to challenge data and reporting where necessary
  • Part-way through your professional qualification (CIMA or ACCA) with excellent communication skills to collaborate with non-financial contacts and stakeholders
