Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee our Operations service area, ensuring that production and productivity targets are met. This role is ideal for a candidate who is a strong communicator, problem solver, and capable of leading and developing a team to meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain expected quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet all production/performance targets as set by the Production/Program Manager.
- Lead and manage the operations supervisory team effectively.
- Ensure adherence to documentation and work instructions by the team.
- Work with remote teams and interact directly with customers.
- Proactively identify production needs and propose improvements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate production reports, including Hourly Reports & Shift Reports.
- Operate all processes with respect to quality, environmental, health & safety, and ESD requirements.
- Work towards reducing costs and increasing productivity through optimal use of skills, processes, and consumables.
- Instruct and train staff to enhance productivity and individual performance.
- Maintain order and line control, promptly identifying and addressing problems.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with support staff and colleagues.
- Ensure job rotation is effective and maximise cross-training opportunities.
- Maintain open and effective channels of communication with teams.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of related experience in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Email.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting and environment.
- Proven track record of running a manufacturing team.
