As a key member of our Buildings & Places Infrastructure division, you will deliver a thorough, precise, and value-oriented service for prominent clients in the rail sector. This role also offers the chance to collaborate across various sectors, including highways, water, and energy throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of commercial management from project inception to final delivery.
- Exhibit the highest levels of professional expertise in all interactions with clients and stakeholders, enhancing the company's reputation.
- Promote performance excellence and technical proficiency through effective communication and utilization of performance management systems.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, consistently enhancing the firm's image as a provider of superior services in the construction sector.
- Support the internal team and mentor junior staff on complex technical projects.
- Identify marketing opportunities and collaborate with Directors and the Business Development team to pursue potential leads for new business growth.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience and a strong background in Cost and Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in cost/commercial management within integrated, multi-organization teams.
- Experience working within a client organization, either directly or through a secondment arrangement, is advantageous.
- Preferred experience in the rail sector.
- Ability to recognize and engage key client stakeholders, building effective relationships to expand workload and portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Accredited to MRICS or working towards this qualification.
