About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Domestic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality responsive, efficient, and effective patient support service to wards and departments within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Carry out general cleaning within the hospital environment, including clinical and patient areas.
  • Assist in any infection control deep cleans as directed by the Domestic Supervisor or Facilities Support Services Manager.
  • Ensure that all barrier nursing and infection-related PPE is fully utilized in line with displayed signs on patient doors.
  • Ensure that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes.
