Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Team Manager in our Older Adult Community Mental Health Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our community.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team, including leadership, development, and coordination of services. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services to older adults
  • Developing and implementing service improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Participating in the Community Services Management Team to contribute to the overall management of community-based secondary mental health services
  • Participating in the service bronze on-call rota as required

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience of working within mental health services
  • Understanding of older adult services and service improvement initiatives
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
