We are currently looking for an Air Freight Pricing Analyst to join our Airfreight division. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong commercial acumen who thrive in a vibrant and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process customer pricing requests through various channels.
  • Assist the Air Freight team with both import and export operations.
  • Engage in rate negotiations with carriers and suppliers, ensuring optimal cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver customer pricing proposals within set deadlines.
  • Utilize our internal systems to generate and distribute pricing quotes.
  • Maintain communication with clients to follow up on quotes, gather feedback, and adjust pricing strategies to enhance opportunity capture.
  • Monitor and report on the success rates of quotes to management.
  • Build and nurture relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and update strategic pricing structures as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of carrier updates and industry changes.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless transitions of secured shipments.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager to support departmental growth.

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of airfreight operations, including inbound, outbound, and cross-trade.
  • Ability to influence profitability through strategic pricing decisions.
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and commercial insight.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications; experience with Cargowise is a plus.
  • Team-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic.
