About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our client's senior leadership team in the industrial/manufacturing sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes to drive business growth and profitability
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with company and statutory requirements
  • Manage the division's capital expenditure and project accounting, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimization
  • Oversee the cost accounting and inventory valuation processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the division, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and procedures, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, driving process efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
  • A recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector, with a strong track record of financial planning and analysis
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and external partners
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes, with the ability to implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures
