Semi / Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Semi / Senior Accountant to join our team at Anderson Scott Solutions. The ideal candidate will be studying towards their ACA/ACCA qualification and/or AAT qualified with previous experience working within a UK practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver accounts assignments, including business support work such as management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Calculate and advise on corporate and personal taxation.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to identify further client service opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients across different sectors.
  • Exposure to cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Familiarity with preparing personal tax and corporation tax returns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
