Manzi's is a renowned seafood-focused restaurant located in the heart of Soho, offering an all-day dining experience that is both relaxed and sophisticated. Our restaurant is situated over two floors, flooded with natural daylight, and features a large outdoor terrace perfect for al fresco dining.

Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Manzi's. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cooking seasonal classic European cuisine using quality fresh ingredients
  • Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, including ordering stock, stock control, and people management
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Contributing ideas towards seasonal changing menus and weekly specials
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a similar kitchen environment and/or hospitality setting
  • Excellent knowledge of classical cooking techniques and in-depth product knowledge
  • Proficient and knowledgeable on all Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation
  • Exposure to back-office procedures, including stock control and payroll management, would be beneficial
  • A track record of people development, or a strong appetite to enhance and develop those skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all departments in the spirit of the company values
  • Right to work in the UK
