We are seeking a highly skilled EHSS Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health, safety, and sustainability strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement EHSS Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive EHSS plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Manage Environmental Issues: Develop and implement plans to manage environmental issues, including waste management, emissions, and energy efficiency.
- Promote Sustainability: Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint and promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with employees, management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on EHSS initiatives.
- Monitor and Report: Monitor EHSS performance and report to management on progress and areas for improvement.
- Minimum 8 Years of Experience: Proven experience in EHSS leadership roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- NEBOSH General Certificate: Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification.
- Strong IT Skills: Proficient in MS applications and other relevant software.
- Accredited Lead Auditor Status: An advantage, but not required.
- Manufacturing/H&S/Engineering Qualification: A degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, H&S, or engineering.
- English Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, with a minimum B2 level.
