We are looking for a Senior or Principal Cable Installation / Hydrodynamics Engineer to enhance our team of specialists in a rapidly evolving industry. This role involves engaging in a highly technical capacity and collaborating across multiple sectors and departments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Senior or Principal Cable Installation / Hydrodynamics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in various technical and managerial functions, including but not limited to:

Leading and mentoring engineering teams. Conducting hydrodynamic analyses and simulations for marine operations. Providing expert consultancy services as needed. Developing and enhancing technical skills in line with business objectives. Managing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction. Supporting tender submissions and business development initiatives. Overseeing project management concerning safety, quality, timelines, and resources. Communicating project requirements effectively with stakeholders. Handling project planning, invoicing, and financial tracking. Identifying training needs for team members to foster technical growth. Assisting in the professional development of engineers within the organization. Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all business dealings. Adhering to internal policies and HSEQ management systems.

Candidate Profile:

We seek a motivated and analytical professional with robust technical expertise and sound judgment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Furthermore, you should: Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the marine or energy sectors. Demonstrate proficiency in Orcaflex software. Have a background in cable installation and mooring analysis. Possess experience in overseeing engineering teams conducting hydrodynamic assessments. Be adept at applying contemporary standards and methodologies to analytical processes. Exhibit excellent computer skills. Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Show meticulous attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Desirable Qualifications:

A master's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field. Experience in a similar market environment. Familiarity with cable installation contractors. Previous roles as a technical authority in hydrodynamic analysis.
