We are currently on the lookout for a Senior or Principal Cable Installation / Hydrodynamics Engineer to become part of our expert team in a vibrant and expanding organization that is committed to advancing the energy transition. The selected candidate will engage in a highly specialized role within the company, collaborating across different market sectors and departments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Senior or Principal Cable Installation / Hydrodynamics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization through various technical, marketing, management, and training functions. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing technical guidance to engineering teams. Conducting hydrodynamic analyses and simulations pertinent to marine operations. Engaging in technical consultancy as required. Enhancing existing and developing new technical competencies in line with business requirements. Managing client relationships through effective communication. Supporting tendering processes. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients. Overseeing assigned projects with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and resource management. Coordinating with management to ensure project delivery aligns with quality and budget expectations. Directly communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction. Handling project planning, invoicing, and financial tracking. Identifying training needs for personal and team development. Mentoring junior engineers within the team. Upholding the professional standards of AqualisBraemar LOC in all business dealings. Adhering to internal policies and management systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We seek a motivated and solutions-oriented professional with strong technical acumen and decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating strong leadership and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively. Additionally, you will: Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the marine or energy sectors. Exhibit a high level of proficiency in Orcaflex. Have experience in cable installation and mooring analysis. Have a background in overseeing engineering teams engaged in hydrodynamic analysis. Be adept at applying contemporary standards and methodologies to analytical tasks. Demonstrate strong computer literacy. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Show attention to detail and a high degree of numerical accuracy. A master's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field is desirable. Experience in a similar market environment is a plus. Previous work with cable installation contractors is advantageous. Experience acting as a technical authority in hydrodynamic analysis is beneficial.
