Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our client's team in the rapidly expanding field of Maritime Civil Engineering. Our client is a dynamic and ambitious company that is bringing a new era to the Civil Engineering sector.

About the Role

  • Technical knowledge of marine structures, including tidal schemes, breakwaters, charging schemes, deep water structures, commercial developments on or by the water, pier construction and repair, and port construction and repair.
  • Experience with:
  1. Detail design
  2. Delivering a package of information
  3. Feasibility studies
  4. Inspection and following up with recommended remedial and replacement work
  5. Assisting with drafting and presenting proposals to new and existing clients
  6. Identifying clients' needs and maximizing expertise to meet those needs
  7. Managing client expectations and keeping them informed along the journey
  8. Providing technical expertise to ensure reports are accurate and understandable for all levels
  9. Overseeing the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting and payments
  10. A passion or interest relating to the marine environment
  11. A Civil Engineering Degree (or similar)
  12. An understanding of Geotechnical engineering would be an advantage
