Marine Resources is seeking a skilled Marine Engineer to join their team. As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of marine engine and associated equipment repair, service, installation, commissioning, warranty, and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine service and repair work on board vessels or in shipyards and workshops, including engine, transmission, control systems, shaft line & couplings, domestic systems, and DC electrical systems.
- Perform full workshop overhaul and repairs to manufacturer's standards.
- Conduct commissioning trials and PDI's to manufacturer's standards and recommendations.
- Install new machinery and equipment.
As a Marine Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of marine engines and equipment, and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will have experience with diesel inboard, drives, and outboards, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Salary: competitive salary plus company van with fuel card.
