Highly Specialist Psychologist

The East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Practitioner Psychologist to join our Complex Needs Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based treatment for individuals with complex emotional needs.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting trauma-informed psychotherapeutic assessments and risk assessments in a community mental health setting.
- Managing a caseload of patients with complex emotional needs, including those with comorbid mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance misuse, and psychosis.
- Delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to individuals with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder.'
- Supervising staff and/or students in the delivery of DBT.
- Participating in coproduced service planning and delivery, including the development of care pathways and the use of outcome measures in clinical practice.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent training as an applied Practitioner Psychologist.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience in conducting trauma-informed psychotherapeutic assessments and risk assessments in a community mental health setting.
- Post-qualification experience of managing a caseload of patients with complex emotional needs.
- Experience in delivering DBT to individuals with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder.'
- Skills in clinical outcome evaluation, audit, research, and/or clinical governance.
