We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist Specialist to join our team in the Bedfordshire and Luton Complex Needs Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving access to evidence-based treatment for individuals with complex emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct trauma-informed psychotherapeutic assessments, risk assessments, and collaborative safety planning in a community mental health setting.
- Manage a caseload autonomously in a community mental health setting, providing high-quality care to individuals with complex needs.
- Deliver Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to individuals with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder.'
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Supervise the delivery of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to individuals with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder.'
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent training as an applied Practitioner Psychologist.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Training in clinical supervision for doctoral clinical psychology trainees.
- Accredited training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and carers.
- Knowledge and skills in clinical outcome evaluation, audit, research, and/or clinical governance.
This role requires the ability to travel using own or public transport to travel between sites across Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, and occasionally, London. A driver's license and access to a vehicle insured for business use are also required.
