Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Bedfordshire and Luton Complex Needs Service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder.'
Main DutiesThe post holder will be responsible for conducting trauma-informed psychotherapeutic assessments, risk assessments, and collaborative safety planning in a community mental health setting. They will also be required to autonomously manage a caseload and deliver evidence-based treatments, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Practitioner Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the development of our care pathway. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with service users, carers, and colleagues to create a psychologically safe environment that enables effective treatment.
Person Specification- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent training as an applied Practitioner Psychologist
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Post-qualification experience of conducting trauma-informed psychotherapeutic assessments, risk assessments, and collaborative safety planning in a community mental health setting
- Experience of autonomously managing a caseload in a community mental health setting
- Experience of delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to individuals with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder'
