Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning and Support Specialist to join our team at Equal Approach Ltd. As a key member of our Transmission Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of transmission projects and customer connections onto our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Transmission Operations team to deliver transmission projects and customer connections safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes of practice, technical and quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including National Grid System Operator, Developers, and other internal teams, to deliver projects to the required technical and quality standards.
- Chair commissioning panel meetings and project safety reviews, and attend design, outage, and project assurance reviews.
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge and understanding of electrical power systems and related operating standards.
Requirements
- Electrical engineering degree or relevant expertise.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of electrical power systems and related operating standards.
- Good understanding of relevant codes of practice, technical and quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work alone or with a diverse team of multi-disciplined engineers and managers.
