The Role
We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team at Trostan Dene. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with the Senior Production Manager to lead a team of shop floor staff in ensuring the manufacture of quality products within specification. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing production to ensure deadlines are met in the most cost-effective manner
  • Collaborating with colleagues in Quality, Finance, Sales, and Customer Services to drive business growth
  • Working with and supporting Machine Setters to ensure efficient breakdowns and repairs
  • Supporting colleagues in addressing customer complaints and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant improvements to manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times
  • Mentoring, training, and developing team members to achieve their full potential

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable career experience and achievement at Production Supervisor/Production Manager level. You will be a positive and engaging communicator who can effectively lead and develop team members. You will also have a good understanding of effective production processes and a continuous improvement approach.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 dependent on your career experience and qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the growth and success of Trostan Dene.
